Welcome to Miss. Unger's Class!! Class Dojo is one of the most popular classroom management tools used in schools today. Class Dojo allows teachers to manage their classroom in a virtual classroom management style. Class Dojo allows teachers to communicate with parents in a direct and instant way, so parents are aware of their students progress within the classroom. In addition, Class Dojo is designed to help students demonstrate positive behaviors within the classroom, along with show the students areas where they could improve.
Class Dojo is a very user friendly website that allows teachers to manage their classroom in a less stressful way. When a teacher first signs up, the teacher has the option to add their school to the dashboard so each class within the school is connected. Next, the teacher can add their roster to each class depending on the period. When each student is added to the correct class, the teacher has the ability to connect each student with a parent through the messaging tool. Teachers are able to create their own category for positive/negative behaviors and can also determine what each category is worth point wise. In addition, teachers have the opportunity to post events, pictures, and upcoming events so parents can keep track of these events and follow along with activities within the classroom. Finally, students are able to use their points as rewards on Dojo Island. The number of points earned within the day or week determines the students activities on the island. Overall, Class Dojo is a great classroom management tool that can help improve all classrooms.
Hey Steve, really enjoyed your smackdown. My mother is a school teacher and I haven't ruled out that profession for myself either, so I look forward to the possibility of incorporating this in my future career, this smackdown will be a great help.

The messaging feature makes it easy for teachers and parents to keep in touch and stay updated on what's happening in class. And I love how it turns positive behavior into a game with Dojo Island, it makes learning fun for students. It sounds like a practical way to improve classroom management and keep everyone involved.

It makes managing a classroom so much easier and so much fun! I will absolutely be utilizing this tool in the future in my classroom. Wonderful post!
